Who is Michael S. Sheppard...

Michael S. Sheppard is a disciplined, highly motivated, hard working individual raised by his sister Gwen Sheppard. Michael is a graduate of North Dakota State University with an Electrical Engineering degree. He was voted team captain for the NDSU Bison football team, went on to camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and spent a year playing arena football for the Omaha Beef.

Michael S. Sheppard has seen the benefits of preparation and witnessed the consequences of avoiding it first hand. Michael's biological mother, Rita Johnson, passed away eleven days after he was born. He was adopted by her sister, Dianne Sheppard, who passed away when Michael was eleven. Neither of them got to see him play a single football game. But because Michael's second mother Dianne planned for him to go to college whether she was in the picture or not, he was able to choose what college he wanted to go to and earn a scholarship. Michael believes that he might not have had the opportunity to have his job, or experience many of the wonderful things he has if she would not have sat down with someone in his position. Michael also believes there is a great deal of stress and change when a family member is lost or disabled for sometime. He says that even though you cannot predict when these unfortunate things will happen, you can protect your family from a great deal of financial stress.
